Harold Award Winner!
Dr. John Palan, Grant Park School District superintendent was announced to be this year’s Pledge for Life Partnership Harold Award winner. This award is given to an outstanding individual who has dedicated their time and talents towards furthering the Pledge for Life Partnership’s (PfL) mission.
Palan began his career as a teacher with St. Anne Public Schools in 1993. He has been a strong advocate for children in his local community. Palan has remained an advocate for children and a supporter of the Pledge for Life Partnership. He has helped support the Pledge for Life Partnership Fun-a-Thon, Family Nights and serves on the PfL board of directors.
“After 25 years, I still believe in the Pledge for Life mission. It’s had a positive impact on kids. The Life Education Center gives kids strategies to get out of bad situations.”
