The Pledge for Life Partnership is publicly recognizing organizations that are making progress towards completing the 11 milestones of a trauma-informed organization and are having trauma-informed trainings.

To be recognized for any trauma-related pieces of training, please take 60 seconds to let our community know about them at: www.bit.ly/kictraumatrainings

We would also like to celebrate your organization’s progress towards becoming trauma-informed. Any organization that is helping to spread trauma-informed care can log their progress of completing the 11 milestones of a trauma-informed organization on this link and will be publicly recognized.
Log your progress at: www.bit.ly/kicmilestones

Because of your efforts across our community, the Pledge for Life Partnership was honored to be selected for the National Leadership Academy for the Public Health. The goal of this initiative is to foster a trauma-informed community where families can flourish. The Pledge for Life Partnership is joined by Garden of Prayer Youth Center, the Kankakee County Health Department, and the Helen Wheeler Center for Community Mental Health in this initiative. NLAPH is a partnership of the Public Health Institute and the CDC.
