“The Power of Grandparents – Preventing Youth Prescription Drug Abuse”

 

 

 

 

 

The Pledge for Life Partnership had the chance to speak to attendees of the Daily Journal’s Annual Senior Fair, held at Kankakee First Church of the Nazarene on September 27th. Pledge for Life Partnership board member, Marge Garay, who has invested many years at the Riverside Resolve Center, represented the Partnership and gave a very well received presentation on how grandparents can play an influential role in guiding their grandchildren toward healthy, drug-free choices. The Kankakee County for Prevention method of Safe Use, Safe Storage, Safe Disposal, Spread the Word was highlighted.
