This year’s billboard contest winners (pictured above) were from Bradley West School!
The contest is held annually for 5th and 6th graders to encourage students to choose “Wise Highs… Choices You Can Live With.” Watch for the winning billboards which will appear in various locations throughout Kankakee and Iroquois counties in September.
The Iroquois-Kankakee Regional Office of Education in collaboration with the Pledge for Life Partnership provides Life Education Center Programs which use two mobile units and classroom education.
During the 2015-2016 school year, life skills programming reached over 12,000 students in Kindergarten -8th grades at public and private schools in Kankakee and Iroquois counties. Healthy lifestyle messages are brought to the community in a variety of ways through Teacher Best Practice, Billboard, and Radio Public Service Announcement contests.
